It also focuses on the interconnection between technology and multidomain operations in the military field as key indicators of future warfighting capabilities, where, unlike in the past, small qualitative differences will be counted. In the light of development trends it will be knowledge technology that will represent the strategic balance between victory and defeat. Without the consideration and application of this knowledge, armies will be at a tactical and strategic disadvantage on the battlefield from the outset, determined by rapid decision-making in the context of the ability to analyse large amounts of data. This transformation brings both opportunities and challenges for the military organisation in implementing advanced technologies in which data plays an increasingly important role. This paper offers a reflection on the application of two new concepts: digital mission command and digital decision-making. | Ključne besede: | big data, artificial intelligence, internet of things, military organisation, digital mission command, digital decision-making |
