objective of offensive operations is to defeat an enemy by forcing our own will while using
focused combat power. Fundamental objective in ambush is to defeat a large number of
enemies in a short period of time, which causes a reduction in enemy's war efficiency. For
ambush to be successful, units have to be hidden and secretly placed in an area, which we
expect our enemy to go through.
A good plan, an appropriate preparation and a proper training are needed to successfully
execute an ambush, which is mostly the commander's task. If those action are being
performed by the commander, the unit will be efficient and in an advantage over enemies.
The execution of an ambush depends on commander's intention and tactical knowledge.
There is no such thing as two exactly the same situations, also, every commander is different
than another, therefor it is pointless to talk about just one right execution of an ambush.
